Mindi believes in the power of small business and the positive effect it can have on growing a strong prosperous community in Central Alberta.

Since 2015 Mindi has been a Senior Partner at Strategis LLP where she manages and sets strategic goals in conjunction with partners Carlo Simonot and Gerald Tardif.  Mindi brings a diverse background of skills and involvements to Strategis LLP, demonstrating her long-term commitment to relationship building and leadership development.

Education & Experience

  • Chartered Professional Accountant in Red Deer and Sylvan Lake for over 15 years
  • Member of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce Policy Committee since 2011. Identify issues that restrain business growth and work to create policies to be passed by the Board of Directors
  • Board Director (2013-2019) and Vice President of the Red Deer District Chamber of Commerce (2016-2017)
  • United Way Community Impact Council and Priority Impact Team Volunteer
  • Secretary-Treasurer and accountant at Coast Mountains School District (2016-2017)
  • Senior Manager, BDO and formerly Cuthbertson Sandall (2004-2012)
  • Terrace SDA Church and School Boards Treasurer

Relationship Building

During Mindi’s involvement with the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce she has worked diligently to build relationships and network with members and community members such as City of Red Deer economic development officers, local media, provincial MLA and federal MPs. Mindi attended numerous luncheons with politicians, information round tables, and board lunch meetings with the mayor.
